USAF insults all women

On top of that, they have insulted the entire Navy; anyone who lost their life in aerial combat or in peacetime operations; the entire TACAIR community; anyone who has ever flown off an aircraft carrier; anyone who has ever flown an F-14; and every woman that has ever served.

This is a pathetic example of tokenism, mindless Political Correctness, and predictable Newspeak. These people are not stupid or ignorant. They change, ignore and redefine the facts to make thier case.
March 30, 2007: Women's History Month
Dedication ceremony of the F-14 Tomcat Display at the Main Gate Honoring Lt. Kara Hultgreen. Lt. Hultgreen flew the F-14 Tomcat in the early 1990s. She was the first female naval carrier-based fighter pilot. The guest speaker for this event will be Captain Rosemary Mariner, the first military woman to command an operational aviation squadron.
Location: BX/Commissionary Parking Lot, Arnold Air Force Base, Arnold ARB, Tennessee
Time: 1 p.m.
I feel great loss for LT Hultgreen's friends, Shipmates, and family - but of all the people who have lost their life flying the F-14 Tomcat - she is the one for honor?

LT Hultgreen was many things - but she is not someone who earned her name on that plane on a level playing field. Of course, the Diversity Bullies and their ilk can wave her bloody shirt around on one of their Worship Months - but perhaps that is appropriate.

I remember the time she was killed. I, like you, found the MIR. I know what was being done to make the civilian masters happy at that time. I know the exceptions that were made. I know the story.

Shame on everyone involved. What I want to know; did anyone ask the F-14 community who they thought earned it?
